An exciting internship opportunity is now available at Damaris: the leading avant-garde luxury lingerie brand known worldwide for it's beautiful and unique designs.

Duties and Key tasks:
The intern's role will be to support the Damaris team in all areas of the company including PR and Marketing, Sales and Production. This will involve a wide variety of tasks, giving the candidate valuable experience and a well-rounded insight into how a fashion head office operates.

- Acting as the front of house for the office, directing calls and deliveries to relevant members of staff and answering customer queries
- Assisting customer services and sales with administrative tasks
- Working with our in-house PR: liaising with press and arranging press sample send outs and call backs
- Updating our website and monitoring stock levels
- Assisting Design and Production in the management of materials and samples- sewing and construction tasks available to those with experience
- Taking on a variety of ad-hoc office tasks

Essential Skills:
Excellent telephone manner and well presented
Pro-active and organised approach to work
Fluent in English
Microsoft Word and Excel literate.

Location: W1 London
Length of Placement: Preferably a minimum of 3 months but shorter terms may be considered
Hours: 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Expenses: Travel expenses only

Junior Production Manager

Duties and Key tasks:


Reporting to the company director, this highly responsible role involves managing the Damaris and Mimi Holliday brands from inception to finished product.

- Managing the design, product development and production calendars.
- Working with the Designer to produce design packs for all collections and keeping full records of all collection materials and construction.
- Responsible for coordinating the development and sampling of new products.
- Working with fabric suppliers and manufacturers in Europe and the Far East, ensuring strict deadlines are met and that production meets delivery, quality and cost targets.
- Sourcing fabrics, trims and components with new and current suppliers.
- Liaising with the company Director, Sales and Marketing to forward-plan brand developments and special projects.
- Introducing Sales and PR departments to new collections and informing them of new products and developments.

Experience and Skills:

- Understanding of fashion design and development processes
- Experience working within a fashion office, ideally in product development or production
- Strong understanding of fabrics and garment construction
- Highly organized and with a strong eye for detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task
- Forward thinking and good problem solving skills
- A team player and excellent communicator
- Ability to prioritise and time-manage efficiently
- MS Office literate (Word and Excel)
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop a plus

Location: W1 London
Hours: 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £17,000.00 per annum
